FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Permanent jewelry is a custom bracelet, anklet, or necklace sized just for you and welded together. Because the jewelry has no clasp, it is permanent! It’s not something you take on and off when you go to bed or shower, but it can be removed with clipper or scissors if need be.

Our permanent jewelry is available in Solid Gold, 14K Gold Filled and Sterling Silver. These are hypoallergenic, lead-free, and nickel-free.
Gold filled is a pressure bonded layer of gold that has 100 times more gold than plated jewelry. It is durable, won't chip or flake, is tarnish resistant, and is a great alternative to solid gold jewelry, at a much more reasonable price. It looks beautiful, and has a finish that will last years if cared for properly.
All fine metals will tarnish with time. Gold Filled has 100x more gold alloy than Gold Plated and because this layer of gold is much thicker it means that 14k Gold Filled jewelry last longer and doesn't tarnish easily. However, in rare instances of extreme sulfide exposure, it can blacken.
You are fine to shower in gold-filled jewelry, get it wet, wear it for life! We do recommend you remove it in salt water or chlorine. Wearing it while using basic lotions is fine, but remove it when putting on anything strong- retinol, peels, glycolic acid etc.
All permanent jewelry are final sales, but we understand that life happens. If the item is removed or broken within the 30-day satisfaction guarantee policy, just bring the chain back and we will reattach free of charge. After the 30-day period, damaged products may be re-welded for $20 + tax
Removal for medical reasons is eligible for a one-time free repair with no time restriction.
It can be done in the comfort of your home. Scissors, wire cutters, or pliers are all capable of cutting your jewelry.
Fine jewelry such as the chains we use in the jewelry will not need to be taken off when going through TSA.
